Flu can be a serious disease & can kill not only the very young & the very old, but also healthy kids, teens & adults without warning. Pregnant women are especially vulnerable, but vaccinating them helps baby resist infection after birth. People with chronic illnesses such as asthma & diabetes can also get very sick from flu complications & should have their flu shot every year.
